Mario Puzo’s The Godfather skyrocketed him to fame and world-wide syndication. The book and its movie adaptation are massive bestsellers, both often referred to as masterpieces. Although I am yet to watch the movie, I was engrossed with the book even though I had my apprehensions at first. It puts a microscope on the microcosm that is referred to as the Mafia.
